Rainfall Analysis for Rainwater Harvesting in Politeknik Ungku Omar

Rainwater Harvesting System (RWHS) is a collection and storage of rainwater for future use have many benefits related to the economy, environment, technology, society. Malaysia well positioned harvest because number rainy days in high average rainfall amount 2500 mm annually. Because effects topography Peninsular Malaysia, distribution varies significantly. Thus, data analysis harvesting potential should be made based on local climate influences from monsoon. The objective this study was analyse Politeknik Ungku Omar (PUO). To simplify analysis, discussed within two monsoons which Southwest monsoon Northeast while trend determined under year 2000 2019. result indicates that PUO will RWHS regarding rainfalls event increasing annual area. Further research clearly needed investigate roof size water consumption increase effectiveness RWHS.
